Clean rooms - great location near the waterfront, and friendly staff. The communal kitchen was a highlight - perfect for meeting other travelers. Gas stoves were a lifesaver during loadshedding.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, situated right on the N2 with easy access to all the shared public areas. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, from the friendly doorman to the attentive staff in the dining bar/lounge area. The room amenities were top-notch, with a comfortable and well-maintained carpeted floor. We also enjoyed the leisure swimming pool and the convenience of the BBQ facilities.
We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a great stay at a well-priced accommodation with a friendly atmosphere. The staff, especially Israel and Moses, were welcoming and made me feel at home. I arrived early after an overnight bus ride and they allowed me to check in right away. I stayed in the villa, which provided privacy, but I was always welcome in the main building. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Island Vibe Knysna for a pleasant stay.

We loved how close this hotel was to the Waterfront, just a quick 10-minute walk away. The cleanliness was impressive and the hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the veranda where we could relax outside and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, we had no issues with parking and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
There was nothing we didn't like.

I had the most comfortable bed during my stay at Island Vibe. It made me feel well-rested and refreshed every morning. The ambiance of the hostel was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall positive experience. The location was also convenient, with nearby shops and attractions within walking distance. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay in Knysna.
Even though there were a few drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, such as the noise from the street and the small breakfast, these did not significantly affect my overall satisfaction with the hostel.

The hotel exceeded my expectations with clean and spacious rooms, and a great location close to many amenities. The big shower and excellent water pressure were a nice surprise, and the friendly and accommodating staff made for a warm welcome. A highlight was the communal kitchen, which had everything that I needed to make a quick meal while chatting to fellow travelers.
The lack of towels provided was a small inconvenience and the room could have benefitted from additional ventilation in the hotter months. However, the parking situation was overcrowded, and the rat problem in the area was a concern.

We had a blast with our friends playing billiards all night long. It was so much fun showing off our skills and having some friendly competitions. Plus, the location was perfect for us adventurous teenagers. We went hiking nearby and explored the beautiful landscapes. Such an epic vacation!
One thing that would have made our stay even better is if there were more party activities for young people. Don't get me wrong, we totally enjoyed the billiards and hiking, but it would have been awesome if there was also a dance floor or a DJ playing some sick beats.

Loved the outdoor pool and free WiFi, because who doesn't want to relax in a pool while posting selfies? Also, being able to cook in the shared kitchen made me feel like a MasterChef.
I felt like I was on a camping trip without signing up for one. The lack of lockers made me feel so safe, especially when sharing a room with strangers.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our early arrival and were always willing to help. the room we stayed in was private, giving us some peace and quiet. There were also a few nearby bars for a night out.
The beds were a bit too hard for our liking and the location was noisy due to construction nearby. the internet was only available in the reception/bar area, which was a bit inconvenient.
